The reigning champ of NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” competition was arrested Tuesday after being accused of having a years-long sexual relationship with teen girl from New Jersey, federal prosecutors said.
The alleged victim came forward in June 2019, telling cops that she and Drew Drechsel had sex several times beginning in 2015, when she was 15 and he was 26, according to a criminal complaint.
They first met and exchanged phone numbers in 2014, at an event attended by several “American Ninja Warrior” contestants, the complaint states.

A registered sex offender in Clinton County is facing life in prison after Clinton County authorities alleged he sexually abused four children — ages 4, 6, 7 and 9 — during a nearly three year period.
Todd William Adams, 53, of rural Clinton, is charged with five counts of second-degree sexual abuse. Each of the charges is a Class A felony under Iowa law that carries a mandatory sentence of life in prison.

The Utah Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that children who report that they were sexual assaulted don’t need to testify and confront their alleged abuser multiple times in court.
The unanimous decision means that, going forward, young people who allege sexual abuse won’t have to testify at preliminary hearings, except in rare circumstances.

LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) – The arrest affidavits for a former Longview physician accused of sexually abusing children who were his patients provide details on the alleged abuse.
Matt E. Hipke, 58, was arrested and booked into the Gregg County Jail Friday on two charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14. He was assessed bonds totaling $1 million, and was released on bond the day of his arrest.

A Mississippi-based U.S. Navy senior chief is facing court-marital over allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman and threatened to distribute nude photos on social media, among other alleged crimes, according to charge sheets.

Prosecutors allege Senior Chief Construction Mechanic Luis H. Garcia sexually assaulted the woman in Guam on Sept. 16, 2018. The woman’s name is redacted in the charge sheet copy provided to Navy Times.

Garcia is also charged on the same date for violating the Navy’s sexual harassment policy when he allegedly kissed the neck
