MAN CHARGED IN SEX ABUSE OF GIRL, 10

Pedro Vladimir Quishpe, a 34 year old Southampton man, has been charged in the sexual abuseof a 10 year old girl last year.  He was arrested Friday and is being held in Suffolk CountyJail on a cash bail of $15,000.  Police said the incident with the child occurred in thespring of 2011.  He is charged with first degree sexual abuse, forcible touching andendangering the welfare of a child.  Quishpe is also being held on a detainer by the USImmigration and Customs Enforcement.
