Husband Admits Fatally Stabbing Therapist Wife on Long Island Over Impending Divorce

A Long Island husband and father admitted to stabbing his therapist wife to death after she revealed her plans to leave him.

Anthony Paruolo, age 39, of North Bellmore, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Nassau County Court on Wednesday, Dec. 4, in the killing of Danielle Paruolo.

Nassau County Police responded to the couple’s North Bellmore residence at around 11:40 p.m. on Oct, 6, 2022, after several people called 911 reporting a domestic incident.

Daughter fatally stabs 84-year-old mom Thanksgiving Eve on Long Island: SCPD

A Long Island City woman is facing a murder charge for stabbing her 84-year-old mother to death on Long Island Thanksgiving Eve, police said.

Suffolk County Police responded to a call Wednesday, shortly after 9 p.m. following a report of a stabbing victim on Carmen Court in Dix Hills, police said. When officers arrived to the scene they allegedly found the home’s resident, 84-year-old Jospehine Bekatoros, stabbed to death.

Hate Crime Charges Levied Against Long Island Detective. “He Attacked Me. He Harassed Me. He Assaulted Me,” Victim Says.

A cellphone company technician says he was attacked earlier this month by a Long Island law enforcement officer while he was just doing his job.

The suspect, identified as 40-year-old John Murphy, a detective, was charged was charged with two counts of criminal mischief as a hate crime, a felony, and aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor, and has since been suspended from the Rockville Centre Police Department.

Police: Teen Stabbed Outside of Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove

The victim was hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed Saturday outside of the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove, according to police.
