A Long Island husband and father admitted to stabbing his therapist wife to death after she revealed her plans to leave him.

Anthony Paruolo, age 39, of North Bellmore, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Nassau County Court on Wednesday, Dec. 4, in the killing of Danielle Paruolo.

Nassau County Police responded to the couple’s North Bellmore residence at around 11:40 p.m. on Oct, 6, 2022, after several people called 911 reporting a domestic incident.

A Long Island City woman is facing a murder charge for stabbing her 84-year-old mother to death on Long Island Thanksgiving Eve, police said.

Suffolk County Police responded to a call Wednesday, shortly after 9 p.m. following a report of a stabbing victim on Carmen Court in Dix Hills, police said. When officers arrived to the scene they allegedly found the home’s resident, 84-year-old Jospehine Bekatoros, stabbed to death.

A cellphone company technician says he was attacked earlier this month by a Long Island law enforcement officer while he was just doing his job.
