Alan Evans, 24 years old, was identified as the man who raped a 13 year old boy in a lavatory in a department store in the centre of Leeds.  He has been jailed for life.

UN conference members agree that children’s rights should be put before freedom of speech.  UNESCO, after having a two day meeting on sexual abuse of children, called for more cyberspace regulations from governments and the computer industry.  The criminal activity of pedophiles and child pornographer who use and abuse children on the Internet is an issue of immediate and urgent concern, UNESCO said.

Sean Guillette, a 34 year old convicted sex offender on probation for molesting young girls, was arrested Thursday after admitting to police he fondled the breasts of a 10 year old girl in a Barnes and Nobel store elevator.  He is charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with someone under 16 and is being held without bail at Chittenden Community Correctional Center.  According to APBnews.com, he has also admitted to touching the breasts of two other girls at two different stores and attempting to fondle two others

Steven Spalding, 45, released on $75,000 bond, is accused of having sex with a 13 year old girl from the Internet.  He has 38 other criminal offenses.  Lawyer says charges are based on rumors.

Patrick Neal Champion, 35, and his girlfriend, Debra Kay Williams, 46, are charged with the rape of a 13 year old girl they met on the Internet.  They are charged with one count of rape, and other charges may be pending.  Police searched the couple’s residence and seized a computer, several cameras and notebooks containing names and what appear to be the sexual preferences of those listed.  The girl said that they both took pictures of her.  They are being held at the Shelby County Jail on $100,000 bail each.
