The Euclid Police Department received a complaint on Nov. 8, 2020, against Euclid Police Officer Donald Ivory. The complaint alleged criminal wrongdoing involving a minor child that happened while Officer Ivory was off-duty and not acting under the scope of his employment with the Euclid Police Department.

The Euclid Police Department immediately initiated a criminal investigation, ordered by Euclid Police Chief Scott Meyer. Officer Ivory was placed on paid administrative leave while the investigation took place.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An Elizabethtown man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by lifetime supervised release for his exploitation of underage boys.

Matthew Alexander Lyons, 34, was sentenced this week following his conviction on multiple counts of online enticement of a minor, production of child pornography, sex trafficking of minors and distribution/possession of child pornography, acting U.S. Attorney Michael Bennett announced.

ST. CLAIR MAN CHARGED WITH SEX CRIMES AGAINST CHILD

A St. Clair man is facing four felonies related to sex crimes involving children, according to electronic court records.

William Michael-Myron Smith, 30, was charged last month with two counts of incest, one count of first-degree rape, involving a victim younger than 12 years of age, and one count of statutory rape, involving a victim younger than 14.

According to electronic court records, the alleged rape and incest first occurred on March 13, 2017, and again on Jan. 1, 2020.
