The show, which premiered at 1 p.m. Monday, lists sex offenders names and show their photos.  The goal is to protect people by making them more informed.  The idea for the show first came up last summer, when the Binghamton city school district stopped automatically mailing out sex offender notifications.  Convicted Level 3 offender Earl Gould says the show is reminiscent of the city’s discriminatory attempt to restrict where sex offenders could live and work.  Gould was convicted for sodomizing 5 teenagers, the most recent in 1997.  He says he’s

Cesar Inga, 26, has been arrested for sexually abusing a young boy in the victim’s Corona home.  Between December 2004 and July 2006, Inga, a family friend, repeatedly molested the boy as he lay on his bed.  He was arrested on charges of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Dionicio Chicas, a 21 year old Jamaica man, was charged with course of sexual conduct against a child and endangering the welfare of a child, for molesting a 12 year old boy over the course of a year.  Chicas inappropriately touched the boy between May 2004 and February 2005.

Governor George Pataki signed a revamped Megan’s Law into effect on Friday in Rockville Centre.  Under new provisions, the names and addresses of Level 2 offenders now will be posted on the Web site of the state Criminal Justice Services division.  The old law required that information only on those deemed a high risk (level 3) be included on the site.

Luis Rodriguez, a 56 year old Astoria man, was arrested for molesting a 5 year old girl who he was babysitting for in his home on Tuesday.  Rodriguez, a salesman, allegedly rubbed his privates against the girl’s buttocks and tried to make the child fondle him.  He was arraigned on charges of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.  His bail was set at $20,000 and he faces up to 7 years in prison.
