A former teachers’ aide from Bradford County is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

According to police, the teachers’ aide had an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student.

It started back in June and continued until last month when the underaged girl told her parents.

Police say a 74-year-old man is under arrest right now and accused of exposing himself to twoyoung girls in Wyandanch.

Police say Jeffery Bernstein, of North Babylon, repeatedly stalked the two girls on South 23rdStreet in Wyandanch.

According to police, their dad told police a man was driving by and staring at the girls betweenJuly 5 and July 9.

Police say Bernstein also exposed himself to the girls once and tried to lure them into hisvehicle with a bag of chips.

Bernstein is being arraigned today for stalking and public lewdness

Washington State Patrol on Monday announced that officers working on a task force investigatingrnchild sexual abuse had recently arrested 26 men on suspicion of crimes ranging from child rape tornpossession of child pornography.

The Operation Net Nanny sting was organized by the state police Missing and Exploited ChildrenrnTask Force. Officers working on the task force used the internet to communicate with men interestedrnin exploiting children. The men were arrested when they went to meet the undercover officers inrnperson.

Police have charged an Islip Terrace man accused of stripping naked and chasing a 17-year-oldgirl on a path in Southards Pond Park with stalking.

It’s disgusting, says Babylon resident Brian Flynn. I couldn’t even know what to say moreabout that, except that it would taint a little girl’s mind forever.

Police say the teen girl was jogging on the path on Monday when Juan Fuentes, 27, ran past herfrom the opposite direction. They say he turned around and continued to jog behind her.

Police are searching for a man accused of grabbing a young girl who was on her way to school inrnWestbury on Wednesday.

According to police, the fifth-grader was approached at the corner of Grand Street and WinthroprnAvenue around 9:15 a.m.

Police say the 10-year-old girl was walking to the Drexel Avenue Elementary School when she wasrnapproached from behind by an unknown white male in his 30s who grabbed her arm.

The girl was able to break free from the man, ran and hid from him until the suspect fled thernscene.

Suffolk Republicans, victim advocates and taxi and limousine companies called Thursday forSuffolk County to block ride-hailing services until the state prevents all registered sex offendersfrom driving for these services.

A bill introduced by Legis. Leslie Kennedy (R-Nesconset) would stop companies such as Uber andLyft from operating in the county because state law allows level-one sex offenders, the lowesttier, to drive for a ride-hailing service seven years after a conviction or completion of a prisonsentence.

Level two and level three sex offenders are not allowed to drive for the services
