Michael Setteducati, a 29 year old instructor at a Smithtown music shop, has been arrested for allegedly raping a 15 year old girl he met through a student.  Setteducati teaches drum and guitar lessons at Coronet Music of Smithtown on East Main Street.  He allegedly had been having sexual contact with the girl since July.  He has been charged with rape in the third degree and was held overnight pending his arraignment.  Police are investigating whether he had inappropriate contact with any other minors, and ask that anyone with information

Robert Weinstein, a 44 year old former East Meadow teacher and registered sex offender, who was more recently an executive at a Manhattan educational foundation, tried to kill himself with a kitchen knife In March 2005 when FBI agents arrived to arrest him on child pornography charges.
