A federal jury convicted a Baldwin man on Tuesday of sex trafficking by force and two counts of interstate prostitution, prosecutors announced.

23-year-old Who Allegedly Stabbed Dad to Death Still Missing 1 Week After Long Island Murder

Police on Long Island are continuing their search for a 23-year-old man accused of murdering his father this past weekend.

According to Suffolk County Police, 61-year-old Joseph Zoll was found stabbed on Saturday just before 1:30 a.m. at a home in Rocky Point.

He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

A school district on Long Island is being ordered to pay $25 million in damages in a massive school sex abuse scandal.

It stems from accusations against retired teacher Thomas Bernagozzi, 76, who is accused of sexually abusing students for decades.

More than 50 former students now say Bernagozzi abused them more than 20 years ago.

Bernagozzi retired from teaching in 2003. He taught the third grade from 1970 to 2000.
