TROY — A Piqua man who claimed he was mentoring young boys but was convicted of a sex offense was sentenced Wednesday to four years in prison by a Miami County judge who said the public needed to be protected from his behavior.
William T. Voris, 66, was sentenced in Common Pleas Court on a charge of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. He pleaded guilty in a plea deal in which two rape charges and one of corrupting another with drugs were dismissed.

Two men seen high-fiving each other after sexually assaulting a woman in a London nightclub have been convicted of rape.
Ferdinando Orlando, 25, and Lorenzo Costanzo, 26, led the victim into a maintenance room minutes after meeting her at the Soho venue and took turns to sexually assault her, leaving her with “severe” injuries.
CCTV footage then showed the men, both Italian nationals, running up stairs out of the club and watching videos they filmed of the attack on a mobile phone.

GETTYSBURG, PA. (AP) — A second-grade public school teacher in Gettysburg has been charged with sexually abusing a child, and the state police are asking for tips if anyone believes there may be other victims.
Vincent Paul Marfia, a resident of Littlestown, was arraigned Thursday on charges that include involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. He was jailed, with bail set at $50,000. Police said in a news release he is 40, but charging documents indicate he is 50.
