COURT HEARS DEBATE ON MEGAN’S LAWS

Scott Sullivan, 29, has been arrested for attempting to sodomize a 12 year old boy in Greenwich Village.  The incident occurred November 6 at around 2:30 a.m. when he tried to sexually assault the youngster in the doorway of an apartment building on Grove Street near Seventh Avenue.  Sullivan was charged with attempted sodomy.

Donald Demonde, a 62 year old off-duty school safety agent, has been arrested for sodomizing a girl 11 times at his Co-op City apartment building.  He is accused of committing the acts from November 1998 to April 2002.  Demonde, who is assigned to the personnel division of Bronx East School Safety, was suspended.  He was charged with sodomy and sexual abuse.

NEW JERSEY JURY NAILS PERV IN TEEN’S MURDER-DUMP

Miguel Figueroa, 32, was found guilty of first degree murder yesterday in the rape and stabbing death of 13 year old Shaline Seguinot, whose body was found behind a Camden school in 1995.  Figueroa will not face the death penalty because the jury of nine women and three men could not reach an unanimous decision of whether the defendant committed the murder by his own conduct.  Shaline disappeared August 4, 1995, while riding her bicycle near her grandmother’s Camden home.  Her naked body was found three days later in the

A man allegedly sodomized an 8 year old boy yesterday in a Jackson Heights park.  The boy was doing homework in Rev. George Warren Hinton Park and a man in his 20s who was playing handball there called the boy over to the court and exposed himself.  Then he forced the boy into a park bathroom and sodomized him before fleeing.

NEW JERSEY ‘KID-PERV’ COP NAILED IN ‘NET

Cpl. James R.
