Timothy Twitty, a 33-year-old man who was first diagnosed as a pedophile at age 14, wassentenced to 30 years in prison for the statutory sodomy of a 12-year-old girl and a concurrent15-year term for kidnapping. A second kidnapping charge and a second statutory sodomy involving a13 year old were dismissed as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Reverend Edward A. Johnson, 39, kidnapped a 10 year old girl at a bus stop and held her captive for three days.  He was arrested and now sentenced to life in prison without parole.  Two psychiatrists testified at his sentencing that he was acting out a fantasy to make the girl his wife and mother to his three children.  Johnson, the unemployed single father of girls ages 7, 8 and 9, took the girl to his house in Gainesville, about 50 miles away and locked her in a room, blindfolded her
