A British serial rapist who sexually assaulted women and children during a two-week period when he was supposed to have been locked up was sentenced Monday to 33 life sentences, according to reports.
Joseph McCann was found guilty Friday of nearly 40 offenses relating to at least 11 victims between the ages of 11 and 71, Reuters reported. The sentences will be served concurrently and he will be eligible for release in 30 years, according to Reuters.

An Arizona man who forced a 16-year-old girl into months of prostitution has been sentenced to 108 years in prison, authorities said.

Robert Hood, 30, had recruited the teenage victim from the streets of Phoenix in late 2017 and coerced her to engage in prostitution for six months so he could collect the money for his own benefit, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office said Thursday in a news release.

MEDFORD, Ore. — Dorian Jeffries, 34 of Medford, pleaded guilty on Thursday, to five counts of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and was sentenced to 55 months in prison and 3 years probation.
The charges were relating to a case opened by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) after Jeffries uploaded images of child pornography on the internet.

A Lompoc man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of multiple sex crimes following a two-week investigation by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, a spokeswoman said.
