TEXAS JUDGE ORDERS NOTICES WARNING OF SEX OFFENDERS

On May 18, a judge ordered 21 registered sex criminals to post signs on their homes and automobiles warning the public of their crimes, and the results were almost immediate.  One of the offenders attempted suicide, two were evicted from their homes, several had their property vandalized and one offender’s father had his life threatened, according to court testimony.  Although Judge J. TEXAS: THE SEX OFFENDER NEXT DOOR (Texas judge requires warning signs outside homes)

James Williams, 43, was placed on probation in 1999 for sexually groping his then girlfriend’s 15 year old daughter.  Judge J. Manuel Banales of Corpus Christi ordered a two feet wide and 18 inches high warning sign that says DANGER in bold white letters across a background of red and Registered Sex Offender Lives Here be put up where Williams lives.

LEVY THROWS BRONX BIG IN SEX CASE OUT OF SCHOOL

Schools Chancellor Harold Levy yesterday took action against three Bronx administrators for not reporting an alleged sex attack to police, but failed to act against his own bureaucrat for the same lapse.  He also said Schools Investigator Ed Stancik is probing the alleged cover-up.  Levy removed CS 66 Assistant Principal Judith Ramirez for not notifying cops that two teenage boys allegedly sexually groped two girls, ages 11 and 12.  He also said principal Marcia Gonzalez, who was not in the building at the time of the May 22 incident, and

POLICE ALERT ON BRONX-QUEENS RAPIST

ROY’S STATE BILL: MAKE SCHOOLS REPORT SEX CASES

Republican State Senator Roy Goodman proposed a state law yesterday requiring school officials to report allegations of sexual abuse to the district attorney.  He said the bill is drafted in response to charges that a second grade teacher in the Bronx sexually abused several students after school officials and investigators failed to report prior allegations to cops.  School officials and staffers would also be charged with a misdemeanor for failing to report sex abuse complaints to prosecutors.  On Tuesday, city officials announced a proposed law that would make it a

THREE RAPE SUSPECTS HELD

Gustavo Caceres, 19, was charged with two counts of first degree rape, two counts of first degree sexual abuse and criminal contempt for raping a 10 year old Freeport girl as she showered at home on Monday.  Caceres is the boyfriend of the victim’s older sister.  He was arraigned and held on $100,000 bail.
