A six year old girl from Northern Ireland was kidnapped from her room in the Barcelo Cala Vinya hotel in Palma Nova early Monday morning and raped at a dark corner of the hotel grounds near a swimming pool.  A police investigation is underway on the Spanish island of Majorca and a 17 year old man, said to be British, has been questioned about the incident.  He has since been released but his passport has been taken from him and police are awaiting the outcome of forensic tests.  Reports from

Nicholas Robinson, 15, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, three counts of first-degree sodomy, two counts of attempted rape, one count of burglary and one count of attempted robbery.  He is responsible for a rash of sexual offenses and robberies committed in Deer Park and North Babylon.

A 45 year old Louisiana woman tried to turn her 11 year old daughter into an Internet porn star by doping the child and training her to perform sex shows for cyber-pedophiles.  The woman, whose name is being withheld, was arrested after the FBI raided her home and seized her computer and photographs.  She was booked on charges of aggravated incest, indecent behavior with a juvenile, improper supervision, pandering and contributing to the delinquency of a minor and held on $75,000 bail.

Donny Vandiver, a 39 year old Russellville police sergeant, was sentenced to two year in federalprison for soliciting sex from a minor. He will begin his sentence September 22. The arrest waspart of an undercover federal and state sting operation.

John Hooker, a 46 year old Massachusetts truck driver with a fetish for sucking children’s toes is being held for allegedly molesting a boy after he paid him and a friend to go skinny dipping.  He told investigators that he has been convicted of abusing children back east.  Police are trying to determine if he has committed similar crimes while traveling across the United States as a trucker.  He told local authorities that he was convicted in Massachusetts in 1991 for assaulting two boys, he was fired as a bus
