Joyce Smith, a 39 year old mother of three was arrested Thursday after she surrendered to San Diego police for wooing teenage boys over the Internet and having sex with them at her home.  According to APB, someone phoned an anonymous tip to a county child abuse hotline and the investigation began.  Smith’s computer equipment and evidence that tied the victims to the scene were seized after police served a search warrant on February 2nd.  She allegedly talked to the boys on the Internet and invited them to her house

Robert McKelvey, pleaded guilty in November 1998 to a single count of possession of childpornography.  McKelvey, 28 years old at the time, was a second year student at DartmouthMedical School in 1994 when the investigation began.  He had been studying to be apediatrician.  The college eventually expelled him after someone reported seeing him with a 9year old boy in a locker room in the College gym in March 1994.  While he worked as avolunteer in a big brother-little brother program, he made child pornography of a young boy.

Michael Longman, 43, a local television newscaster is wanted for molesting a boy in a drugs-for-sex scandal, police said.  An arrest warrant was issued for Longman in connection with his relationship with a 15 year old boy he allegedly gave cocaine to for sex while watching pornographic movies.  The warrant charges Longman with an aggravated crime against nature, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, pornography involving a juvenile, cruelty of a juvenile and possession of drug paraphernalia.
