A woman searching the Virginia State Police sex offender registry on the Internet recognized aregistered sex offender. Garry Wayne Lilly, 39, now faces a new charge. He is charged withaggravated sexual battery of a victim under 13. Authorities were notified of the alleged abuseafter the child’s aunt visited the web site. He faces a grand jury hearing on April 26th and isbeing held without bond at Augusta County Jail since his arrest on February 3rd.
US Customs Agent Don Daufenbach goes undercover by simply sitting at his computer to enter the community of Internet child pornographers. At least 90 percent of Daufenbach’s time is spent on Internet-related cases he tracks from his downtown Salt Lake Office. His cases include the first foreign national charged by the American government for commercially distributing child pornography on the Internet. A 34-year-old London businessman was sentenced to 23 months in federal prison last year for operating pay-per-view child pornography sites on the Internet. A group of sex offenders, rapists and child molesters, mostly men, sometimes women, meets regularly in a little office suite a block off the Norman Rockwell-Style town square to talk about what drives their lust to have sex with children. The goal of this program is not to cure molesters but to protect the community be reducing the number of future victims. Most molesters have 200 to 300 victims in a lifetime.
Stuart Friedman, 45, pleaded guilty in November to one count of distributing child pornography. Friedman served as the cantor of a synagogue in Canada and was deported from Canada after mailing child pornography to an undercover FBI agent in Southern California. He was

Paul Blazevich, 39, was indicted last week in San Diego for possession and transportation of child pornography over the Internet. The self-employed real estate developer and part time martial arts instructor was indicted on 37 counts of international transportation and possession of child pornography over the Internet by a San Diego federal grand jury. Special agents of the US Customs Service are intensifying their investigation into Blazevich.
