The Associated Press 12/10/07 Richard Steve Goldberg, 62, of Long Beach, pleaded guilty in August to one count ofproducing child pornography.  Goldberg, who was on the FBI’s most wanted list and was capturedin Canada after years on the run, was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison.  Goldberg wasnamed in a July 2001 state arrest warrant charging him with sex counts of child molestation and twocounts of possession of child pornography.  The state charges, which allege Goldberg molesteda half-dozen girls between the ages of 5 and 9, are pending.  He

SCPD 12/2/13 William Iglesias, a 39 year old photographer, was arrested for secretly recording employeesin a photography studio bathroom in Brentwood.  A 24 year old female employee of Foto Y VideoAlexander, located at 1114 Suffolk Avenue, discovered images of herself on her boss’computer.  The images were captured without her knowledge while she was in the studio’sbathroom.  Detectives discovered a remote recording device hidden in the business’bathroom.  Recordings of another employee, a 19 year old female, were also discovered. Iglesias, the owner of the business was arrested today and charged with Unlawful

Newsday/Andrew Smith 12/18/13 Thomas Sheppard, a 28 year old Westhampton Beach Middle School gym teacher, admittedWednesday to using a cell phone to secretly record video of female students in the lockerroom.  Sheppard, of Speonk, is expected to get 5 years of probation and give up his teacher’slicense and register as a sex offender, according to the terms of a plea deal.  He pleaded notguilty on April 29 to an indictment that accused him of making a cellphone video recording of hisfemale eighth-grade students undressing in the locker room after class.
