Edwin Gimenez, a 51 year old convicted pedophile, pleaded guilty Monday to second degree murder as the mastermind in the killing and dismemberment of the mother of the Buffalo boy he was molesting last year.  Gimenez told the judge he pleaded guilty to keep the two sons of the slain Madeline Irene from going through what I’m going through emotionally.  Gimenez, an ex-Marine and former member of the MENSA Society of high-IQ individuals, taught one of the boys, Angel Rosa, now 16, how to strangle his 46 year old mother,

Adam Mauro, a 27 year old suspected sex offender from New York traveling with a runaway 14 year old boy, intentionally smashed a stolen SUV into a tractor-trailer on a South Carolina highway when he couldn’t shake pursuing police.  The crash Thursday killed Mauro, of Pelham in Westchester County, and hurled the Connecticut teen out of the vehicle along Interstate 95.  He is expected to survive.  Mauro was facing three counts of child endangerment and three counts of sexual abuse in two separate cases.  He was first arrested in August

Michael Brennan, a 64 year old man who raised suspicions after asking
children in Portsmouth, NH, to help him find his puppy, was discovered
to be a sex offender.  Brennan, an unregistered sex offender, has been
living in South Berwick.  He was arrested last week on an unrelated
warrant out of York.  Records showed he was a sex offender and had not
registered since October.  Brennan was convicted of one count of gross
sexual assault in 1984 in Biddeford.

Cops are looking out for a man who exposed himself to a 12 year old girl and tried to abduct her on a Port Richmond street corner.  The man pulled up in a black Chevy Trailblazer at the corner of Clove Road and Cary Avenue Friday evening as she was walking, exposed himself and instructed her to get in his car.  She refused and the man fled.
