MEDFORD, Ore. — Dorian Jeffries, 34 of Medford, pleaded guilty on Thursday, to five counts of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and was sentenced to 55 months in prison and 3 years probation.
The charges were relating to a case opened by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) after Jeffries uploaded images of child pornography on the internet.

The case was referred to Internet Crimes Against Children and the Department of Homeland Security before it reached local law enforcement.

The U.S. Department of Justice is suing a former Channahon gymnastics coach and Olympian accused of years of abuse of his students and is asking a federal judge to revoke his citizenship.

Jose Vilchis, 69, who became a naturalized citizen in 1997, is in the Will County Adult Detention Facility awaiting trial on charges that he sexually assaulted and abused a girl he trained at the I&M Gymnastics Academy in Channahon in late 2012 or 2013.
