Paul V. Fraser, 53, a psychotherapist, is facing four years in prison for possessing child pornography. He said he was collecting the material for research. According to Prosecutor William Weber, Fraser was never authorized to collect such material. He has appealed his January 29th conviction.
Donald Dickinson, a 42-year-old Plainview man, was arrested and arraigned yesterday on charges he sexually abused a 13 year old girl. He pleaded not guilty to charges of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree sexual abuse and is being held on $5,000 bond and $2,500 bail. Dickinson is the vice president of a Manhattan apparel company and coached a girl’s basketball team from the St. Anne’s parish in Garden City. He could face up to 2 years in jail if convicted of both charges.
